4th May 2023 - Medical Mavericks Workshop
Medical Mavericks came to The Limes and the students participated in an exciting workshop exploring careers in the medical sector!
Medical equipment was provided which allowed students to explore their own bodies. This ranged from equipment to carry out basic medical observations - such as a blood pressure monitor and pulse oximeter - to ultrasounds and a phlebotomy practice limb.
Students really enjoyed the practical session and were encouraged to think about the wide range of career pathways available through the study of medicine.
